How we put the guides together
We use official venue and organiser information for addresses, admission, visitor details and event dates. Each place and dated event links to its primary source. Our launch visitor information was checked on 10 October 2026.
The writing helps you choose between areas, venues and types of day. Practical details link back to the venue, so you can check its latest programme before setting off.
Our first cities
Manchester, Bristol and London in the United Kingdom; Dublin in Ireland; Melbourne and Sydney in Australia. We add a city when there is enough useful, verified information to make its guide worthwhile.
Bookings and partnerships
Bookings are completed on the venue or ticket provider’s website. Some links may become affiliate links as ticket partnerships are approved; a completed booking through one of those links can earn CityDayOut a commission. Paid relationships will be identified where they are used.
